she is eatting a rodent in ya hand, was wonderinf if u always feed the feed while in ur hand.

No Chistain not normally she shot out and snatched it through her self around my hand , the mouse was consumed in less than 1 minute she was then returned to her enclosure and thats it done and fed till tuesday.

o ok then thats fine, i was going say i ahve seen people hand feeding snakes such as boas and it cuaes problems. glad u don't.

stunner snake by the way.

Christian I have kept snakes all my life longer than you have been on the earth I now what I'm doing but thanks for your concerns she is fine even when fed from or in the hand

Pretty snake but i was upset to see it feeding.
I think snakes are beautiful but the whole feeding thing upsets me. I know they have to eat but i still don't like to see it. Maybe it is because i'm a rodent fan, have 4 lovely rats as pets.

My vet keeps lots of snakes and has converted his spare room into enclosure for his largest, she's about 17foot and has a severe attitude problem with everyone except him. Don't know what she is; python? boa? All i know is that my vet never talks to me about her and feeding!
