is lola dead?

ok so ive had my snails afew weeks now n everythiing seems ok but for the last couple of days lola hasnt come out of her shell.got like a slimy film over her shell where she comes out.wat have i done?thought you couldnt go wrong with snails? x

shes just gone into semi hibernation if you give her a quick soak in luke warm water she should come out again my snails do this all the time its like having a little break from the world
most snails in the wild hibernate and thus in captivity also do it but only for shorter periods spread throughout the year

yea, like chris says she shud be fine......they can also go liek this when beginning to shed.
