rabbit pregnancy
rabbit gestation is 30-32days, small litters can be carried a few days longer. Problems are extremely rare but birth is usually really fast, usually in the morning and takes (generally)less than half an hour.
Abortion is really rare as well, after 35days the babies die in the uterus, and will either be mummified or rot - either way an xray and surgery would then be required in my opinion. If he hasnt got the dates wrong, I would get her vet checked next week for peace of mind. additionally, as you want her as a pet and not for breeding, I would really recommend getting her speyed at some point. Uterine cancer is really really common in intact does, and is frequently fatal. Speying them also makes most does less angry at life.... hannah

Hannah when I bred rabbits my does always dropped excatly 28 days after mating , does it perhaps depend on the breed on how long they carry

maybe they were just keen to get them out..... Not heard of that, they do say viable babies can be born as early as 29days but obviously yours didnt read text books!! What breed were they, the larger breeds and bigger litters may be a reason!
