oh my god i just fed him his first lot of live food since i got him and i nearlly screamed the house down, i wasn't expecting locus to be quite as active as they are. Any tips on how to remove them and put them in the viv without them diving at my face once i open the tub, which equalled me running around the living room like a little girl.lol

If you put a box of locusts in the fridge a bit before you want to feed him the cold will slow them down loads and then they will wake up in the viv |

LOL I just keep mine in a plastic tank and bang it so they ain't climbing up the sides and then just open the wee door on top instead of taking lid off the fridge thing sounds alot easier though x you'll have to put some more pics up x

Yeah I have to admit with all the animals we've fed live foods to over the years, crickets and locusts are just the pitts! I hate them with a passion! lol
I'm not very good at things that jump at me which is why we now feed cockroaches lol Good luck |

putting the locust in the fridge worked fantastic. It seemed to just slow them down enough for me to grab them by the back legs and throw them into there doom.
Thanks for all the advice guys.x
