That's shocking I clicked the report item link on it surly that's just wrong thought live animals were a definite no on eBay.

I saw the other week someone selling fish tank with fish and turtles on ebay.. I didn't think you was allowed to sell animales on there

hi
its horrible bidding for a tortoises , i did think the only way something live could be sold as a feeder food like snails,stick insects ect.

You can't sell anything turtle or tortoise origin so think a tortoise would be that

I reported it too. I used to live in Walderslade a long time ago. He looks like a nice healthy tort though.

It's not an african spur thigh either a bit confusing. You can sell mealworms and other live food on enbay as I buy from there not sure about other animals.

Restricted The sales of the following animals are permitted, provided that the seller guarantees in the listing that the animals will be packaged safely and posted via next-day delivery. Live bait (minnows, shiners, earth worms, and meal worms) Live insects, crickets used as bait or feeder food for pets Shellfish, such as crabs and lobsters, that are live when sold but intended for human consumption Aquarium or pond fish (up to 5cm long), snails, tadpoles or similar creatures. Aquarium or pond fish longer than 5cm may be listed with the 'Collection in person' option Hatching eggs for some animals are permitted provided the seller offers domestic-only next-day delivery within the UK and Ireland. However, hatching eggs from endangered species, migratory or wild birds, snakes, or turtles aren't allowed. Not allowed Sales of other animals not listed in the exceptions above |

hi
Just hope some how the tortoises gets a good home , do you think someone should offer it a home before add gets taken off? .hopefull the owners will do the right thing.
