I?m back
Hi guys, it?s me , Suze. How are you all? Feels like I?ve been away too long, I miss tortoise people.
I?ve been getting used to a life changing diagnosis, I have Parkinson?s , but I?m ok, and getting used to the ups and downs of it, one of which is not being able to type as well as I could. My torts are all up, and going crazy, can?t wait to get them out ! What?s all your news.

Hi Suze
Great to hear from you and sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Like Gordon says there are still a few of us about. Take care and let's hope the weather picks up soon so we can all enjoy a bit of outside fresh air. xx |

Hello Suze, so lovely to see you back here.
Sorry to hear about your Parkinson’s. I’m sure it’s taken a lot to get used to but you and your family are being strong and supportive for one another. I think between us all on here we could write our own medical book! Keep looking after yourself.

Yes I'm still here and as Mary says it's the busy time of the year for all of us sorting out tortoises.
The browns seem to of over wintered well and are now going out most days which is nice to see. I'm also getting myself ready for yet another operation in April all being well which is stressful due to what happened last time. |

Hi Suze, so lovely to hear from you. I'm sorry to hear your diagnosis. I have been struggling a bit, my dad died in October & I'm currently fighting a battle over my mom's care. (Long, boring, stressful story!)
My torts have hibernated well & are all up & eating well now. My pensioner Hermann's hadn't been out until they broke out of their greenhouse yesterday! I got home today to find one trying to get back to the greenhouse in a huge hail storm! |
