I don't feed cucumber regularly, just the ends, barely enough to whet the appetite of a dozen adults.... What is surprising is how torts seem to love it. X x x hugs x x

Torts definitely love cucumber and it's perfect for adding any medication to. I have only used it when worming and it's never let me down as they can't resist it.

Emma , do you use a powder for worming, if you can recall the name as I may get some? I must admit I don't routinely worm my tortoises but I know a lot of people do. CB

I rarely have to medicate, another reason why I dont feed cucumber.

I use Panacur paste, CB. When Tamara came to me in the summer she had a really heavy workload.
I don't routinely worm any of my torts either.

oh Emma thanks, I think its because there is so much on.... I have panacur paste doh !! it says for rabbits on it. I think I will leave it alone for now then as you can usually see the worms, or there is a sign for testing. Not done it before so will wait til need to like you. CB

For worm testing I highly recommend wormcount.com they are great value, very fast and very helpful should you have a question.

The type of Panacur you use I don't think matters, but do be very careful on dosage, the liquid versions are far easier to measure accurate than the paste.
