I had the pleasure of meeting Eric Goode last year at a conference in Germany. His work and that of his organisation Behler Chelonian Center, is truly inspiring.
He gave me a video (20mins), on the Okinawan leaf turtle. This details a field trip conducted by Eric and his colleagues in 2009. If regional Chelonian groups, would like to see this let me know, and I might be able to arrange a viewing at future regional meetings? |

These are the tortoises from St. Catherines Island here in GA. They were forced to leave and seem to have ended up in a better place. John Behler was in charge of the St. Catherines Island facility.

No. They moved it there the same time I moved here. It is also around Santa Barbara which is half way between LA and San Francisco which is a good distance from San Diego.
