I wish Yanni would take after these lot, shes started sniffing and scraping dagain, probs just teasing me

Congratulations on the eggs. I find hermanni eggs hatch at 54 days if incubated at 32 degrees. Remember to have a dish of water in there to keep the humidity up. Low humidity can cause dead in shell hatchlings.
My elderly hermanni laid 7 eggs yesterday too so they should be hatching at similar times

Not sure mine will be OK as old Tilly has only produced one baby so far. I was told it would be unlikely her eggs would be fertile as they are a weird shape due to her advancing years. Baby Albert from last year is doing fine though, so you never know

Chalk up ?? not sure i know what that means but they are not the same colour now as they were when she first laid them !!!! Then they were blue tint and now they are a more whiter colour !!! (is that what it means ??) ( first lot of eggs )

You can see this with the naked eye, but can't get it with the camera unless I shine a light into the egg. This is what a fertile egg thats chalking up looks like The part that's chalking is more opaque then the rest of the egg, so it shows up as a spot when you shine a light into the egg.
