Tortoise and Turtle in same enclosure?
Today my kids have been on a school trip and said there was a Hermann tortoise and a Mud turtle in the same enclosure. They said there was a shallow dish of water in there for both the tort and turtle to paddle in. Is this possible?

Looking at their pics it looks like a land turtle (box turtle maybe) in the same enclosure as a hermann tortoise. I've looked at their enclosure needs and they are almost the same so I suppose it wouldnt be impossible. If they were both checked over by a vet first (which I assume they would be in a zoo) maybe it's possible.

both species require completly different conditions. One of them will suffer for it unfortuneately.
