Good open debate is good for us all to learn, but before this goes any further could i ask that nobody gets personal, we are all here from a cross section of society and we need to respect where we are all from!!
Thanks Guys, Darren |

"NOW then when you mention POOR PEOPLE shouldnt have epts its cruel because they cant afford right care WELL its bloodty well wrong, us poor familys can afford Stuff for exotic pets...and everything" well cpx obviously this is not entirely true as you may wait three weeks for your uv bulb and if it was winter this could possibly cause a problem, im not sure.
Anyway this conversation is becoming less informative and more critical. Its not about being poor, i bet we all feel poor when it comes to buying a new uv bulb. The bottom line is if ppl wana keep any type of pet just make sure you can keep them properly even in a worst case scenario like ur niece breaking your uv bulb. |

Whatever the facts maybe I still think that our site is here to help not judge and if we put people off then they will only look elsewhere and if you so called concerned people chase folks away then you havn't helped any torts or anything else have you, if kind helpful advice, and a sympathetiic ear is offered it will get better results than jumping down peoples throats anytime.

Hope you don't mind me making a suggestion. Well how about trying to save a small amount each week as a tortoise emergency fund I have one and its amazing how it mounts up.
