Fab photo! Two of mine do the full starfish impression when they're chilled out too. I love seeing them doing it!

Is it just me or do all tortoises have really cute hind legs! I love watching mine mooch about and how their hind legs move! They seem so vulnerable!

I wish my horsfields looked as chilled in the bath, they hate it, they climb over each other trying to escape and I have never seen them drink during a bath in 7 years!!!

Aww they are beautiful My Horsfield does this in the bath, he sleeps in there too sometimes Alleycat, maybe you could try bathing after you have fed ? They may be more settled for you ?

My horsfield doesn't like baths either - it's a battle of wills and we both get distressed.

Except once, when I came home from work and saw her bathing in her water bowl, but as soon as she was spotted she tried to get out quick. Nice photos though

So I assume she does give herself a good soak, I'm just not there to see it.
