A friend of ours has recently given up & his doctor has given him antidepressants, although he's not depressed! Apparently theyve discovered that whilst taking this tablet people were put off smoking. It was interesting that he'd borrowed his mother in laws car to come to our house & whilst outside admiring it he commented that it was a nice car but stank of smoke which he now couldnt stand the smell of. I can find out the name if you like?

Good luck! I put all the money I would have spent on fags into a Quality Street tin, and at the end of a year bought myself a really nice mountain bike. Is there anything you really want but can't justify spending a load of money on? It's a great incentive thinking that you're working towards it.

Thanks guys, I am finding it quite easy so far. I am using patches but also an electronic cigarette for when I am desperate. They are fantastic. My uncle used one before me and he had been a heavy smoker (50+ per day) for 45 years and within 5 weeks he was down to 10 a day. If anyone else wants to quit go to www.nucig.co.uk to have a look at them BUT DON'T BUY ONE UNTIL YOU'VE CONTACTED ME as I can get you a 10% discount with a code I have. Just inbox me if you are interested xxxx
