I am in my element
My hubby Paul, can tell you every single cow - just by looking at it - and most of its family including mother, grandmother and sisters and aunts!!!! - He amazes me!!! We have just picked the kids show calves for this year - so I will be breaking 7 soon This is my eldest Reece winning the South West heats last year with Escudo: And this is my youngest Jay, cuddling his calf, Tala: |

I know - that is how lovely and cuddly they get when you spend every day with them!!!! Reece puts in most of the work
And, once a show calf always a show calf, they rush up to you for cuddles and never forget how special they are - we walked up to one of the fields tonight to check our in calf heiffers and there was a show calf from two years ago, pamela2 - Reece walked up and flung his arms round her and she snuggled back |

Thanks Linda!! - I am really proud as he had no farming background whatsoever till I met Paul. He loves it out here and I am really thankfull that we moved away from town as I worried about kids hanging about on corners!!
He has had alot to deal with in his lifetime so far - he watched his dad beat me black and blue and then my brother died which hit him hard. Paul is kind and gentle and the get on very very well Reece at the Royal Show: |
