plans for sulcata home
I have this as part of the build we are planning, our garden is 150ft and secure, what kind of outside run should it have? How can I make it secure and how do we sort out the heating? We also have a double garage and a utility room so we are thinking maybe for the winter a large wooden enclosure/pen with lighting is best in winter????

It's lovely Jackie. Looking forward to pictures already. I wish I could help with questions but I know nothing about Sulcata.

maybe you'd need the garage in winter if next year turns out anything like last winter

Oh Jackie, your definately going ahead then? How exciting, im looking forward to pictures. I like the house & think it would be good in the summer but you would need somewhere you could insulate well for winter, to obviously keep your costs down, so a garage or part of or a shed would be good. Paul / 16 shells is a great source of info & has helped me lots with queries on my shed, so id give him a shout.
Dont forget pictures! |

Still thinking,I have a huge indoor enclosure ready, but it is massive,if I get a tiny baby then I have a smaller enclosure too,I also plan to use my utility room if I ever get round to finding a suitable sully

Jackie it is mainly the 21-26c background heat from usualy October'ish round to May'ish so an insulated or indoor place is the easy way.
