Jeff i have bred 4 so far and 1 due any day .
The first baby died in a fight with his dad i was gutted Second baby is rehomed . Third baby was exchanged for my second female from a keeper in France. Fourth baby is here still and paired up with the French female. They eat a wide varied diet the bulk being grated boiled egg and insectivour mix made for birds . with added diced cheese, fruit such as banana ,apple or melon and grated carrot. Again added meaworms, waxmoths and occassional locusts loads of calcium in the form of cuttle fish they love this and limestone sprinkled on there food. Sandy yes just one babie born after 4 1/2 months the female is an excellent mother and has produced more than any other three banded in Europe, the first birth was at Poznan zoo in Poland iibred the third UK animal and the 5th European three banded , there are very few about and probably only two may be three adult feamles in the uk. Thanks every one else they are amazing and give me loads of pleasure every evening when they wake. Darren

Linda thanks they are special.
Sandy yes i am proud to have helped propergate this species in captivity. Linz yes me too we need a girl this time and the next Dazza no don't wish that one me imagine the state of the place it would look like a mine field Nicky dillos don't need any licence as they are not yet protected but they are very difficult to ship out of ther native south america as few countries (european ) allow them access plus most animals unfortunately die in transist due to there specialist diet and the lenghty proccess of transport Darren
