wow - how did you both manage that (to be come keeper for the day)

i would love to work in a zoe or anything with animals for that matter, but... alas.... i work in an office

I would love to work in a zoo but unfortunately I install CCTV and burglar alarms instead
If only I had made better decisions all those years ago
I was bought the keeper for the day experience for my 30th birthday Its £200 at the moment at Chester, other zoos do this aswell have a look at their websites

Hi,

Currently have 2 adults running around the garden.

They are not as easy as most tortoises to keep as they need a little bit more work! They love to bask in water so I need to change 2 large dishes of water once or twice a day depending if they have defecated in it!

As for feeding, I feed a lot of fruit so buy mango, papaya, apple, pairs, strawberries, plumbs etc.. I also add at most 20% greens. Also note the female loves snails big time! All you hear is a large crunch and they are gone.
