Thank you so much.
I have found a small group of people on a forum whose cats have this. It is very rare and a lot of vets have never seen a case of it but I am getting lots of fantastic advice. It is also very complicated though as a cat with Acromalgely is not like a normal diabetic cat. All depends on how much growth hormone is being secreted by the pituitory gland and this can drastically change glucose levels from one day to the next so need to buy a home testing kit so that I can start testing George myself. Nick has just gone to collect Georges notes and just got to wait for a call from the vet hospital. |
