Default 2 boys

I have been advised not to put two males together because they will fight. Is this strongly advised or is it just a case of if their personalities clash. I am thinking of gettin another horsefield and find it quite hard to find a female one.
Cheers

It really depends on a few factors as to whether they will live happily together.
1 is as you say personality, some are more agressive than others, while some may be very peaceful and avoid a fight.
2 Space. If given plenty of space and lots of hiding places there is usually no problem as they will keep out of each others way.
Horsfields are known for sometimes being more agressive than other species, but I have heard of more than one male kept together when plenty of space is allowed. Of course you must be prepared to seperate them if things don't work out.

I agree with Peter, not all fight but it is a possibility. You would have to try to find out<g>.
I think (dont hold me to this as I dont keep them) that its more likely when females are
around.
They might just decide who is alpha male and not fight<g>.

They could have one big scrap or a few ones and then once they know whos alpha, then they calm.

If they are close to females and can smell them, this has been known to cause problems, but i only have one male so couldnt say.
