Vicky's reply was good, but the wattage of the lamps will depend on the species you're getting.

Enclosure/table/vivarium
Lighting..either all-in-one heat+light UVB mercury vapour lamp plus lamp holder or UVB tube+spot light or compact UVB plus spotlight. tubes require an additional starter unit. water dish food dish piece of slate nutrobal limestone flour cuttlefish bone washing up bowl for bathing maybe lampstands if going for the mercury vapour bulbs sterilised topsoil some pebbles or cobbles mister to spray the soil F10 disinfectant wild flowers of the UK book digital thermometer is essential a hide can't think of owt else ATM. As mentioned above, some species require low light Last edited by Alan1; 14-05-2010 at 06:22 PM. |

it depends what bulb you are getting. if it's a solarglo 125w or mega-ray 120 or 100w then this is fine http://www.shelledwarriorsshop.co.uk...054-1060-p.asp
if it's a higher wattage than that, for example 160w bulb then you'd need the next size up (25cm) but you won't need that unless your table is really big PS if you are talking about just a spot bulb and not a mercury vapour bulb then I don't know what they fit into |
