I don't keep redfoots and haven't got a clue about the dripper, but topsoil with a layer of reptibark seems to be what most of the Redfoot keepers on here use for substrate, then the spray 2 or 3 times a day I believe.

Hi we spray our redfoots, and I have a humid hide, and a covered area of their table, to be honest their table looks like an old fashioned crib, the cobered area gives them a dark cosy area, which they seem to like.

No you dont need one of those, red foots dont need to be kept wet just humid. Just spray them a couple of times a day. I thought you changed yoru mind about red foots?

If you plant out the enclosure you can get alot of the humidity from watering the plants and spraying the other areas

I plant ornimental grasses, yuccas, something that looks like mini palm trees - dont know the name but do well in the heat and the leaves are out of reach but provide dappled light, asparagus ferns, pansies, weeds.
You may want to plant out more than you do for your others they seem to prefer it that way and it dapples the light. I bought a humidifying spray a couple of years back and wasn't mpress with the results - like sarah said they like humidity not wet gound. Humidifier sprayed every 3 hrs but just in the same place so just ended up with a wet area |
