Out in the rain
Question, My Leopard has just been given freedom of a shed/ enclosure, with heat/uv, the rain came today and he was out and sat in the light rain. Is this ok, i think i read that some people shut them in. When i found him i put him indoors, i wonder if i did'nt give him chance to make his own way inside. Lol. Any thoughts.

One of my leopards loves the rain, the other runs straight for the kennel (if he is not already there that is cos he is a scaredy cat lol)
Florence often just lies there right on the lawn enjoying the shower, when he has had enough he will simply mope back to the kennel

Thanks Lea, i may leave him a while and see what he intends to do, next time, if it is warm enough.

I would leave them out in a light shower, as long as they had the option to get in a shelter if they wanted to.
My Torts quite enjoy a shower lol |

My leos seem to love the rain and often come charging uout of the shed when they hear it on the greenhouse roof. they collect underneath a broken gutter and drink the water that splashes down even though i provide umpteen bowls of water.

I'm wrestling with this very thing too. I have for the last week put my guys outside full time. The only thing i'm worried about if we get a bad storm will they get under cover. I'm not worried about the rain too much because they all have shelter to get into. I just worry about the hatchlings. I need to get over worring so much myself. I think they'll be fine.

That's good because mine stayed out again yesterday in the rain shower.
