Hahahaha, my husband talks to my tort when he thinks i am not around too!!! Its so funny, i overhear him all the time! Bless him for pretending to be macho and manly around me!

Hi my OH, does the same, thinks we cant hear hi, when he goes into the room "morning boys do you want some food today, will feed you when she goes out" wondered where the weeds were going, thought my daughter was feeding the to the Gpigs.

Heehee, it seems all our OH's love the torts when we're not looking!!!!! My OH picks up the cat and takes him to mirrors,windows etc and says to him.....remember I used to do this when you were a wee tiny kitten....... in a voice that you would use to talk to a baby!!!!!!

Have you checked your night time temps with heating on, it should not be the same as your day time temps, in the cool end. Mine sleep at around 50f
