Leopard and Red foot cuisine
I only keep Hermanns (at the moment... ) and have soo many lists of food for them and other Med torts we're on track for a great chapter however, the lists on leopards and ref foots are so far looking much shorter.. So, I ask you, my faithful fellow warriors, yet again, to help me with my work!
Name any plant, fruit, vegetable, weed, lesser mammal.. whatever! That you always, sometimes, occasionally, rarely, once every blue moon feed your leopard or red foot tortoise Our aim here if for The list of food for these torts! (Also, it may prove useful in the future just to have on SW - I'm not totally self centered, honest!)

Hibiscus Gazania Aloe vera Echeveria Lampranthus Petunias Watercress Endives Wild Geranium (never touched) Agave Plantains Dandelion Sow thistle Chick weed Clover (much loved) Chiccory Calendula Marrigolds (never touched) African Daisies Nastiriums (rarely eaten) Hosta Vetch Viola Mimmulus Mallow Creeping bell flower (flowers especially loved) Pansy Hawkbits Welsh Poppy Forget me Knots Sainfoin Lavender (never touched) californian Poppy Dead Nettle Nipplewort Cornflower Bittercress Jack by the hedge Birdsfoot trefoil Daisy Speedwell Cats ear Knapweed Betony Stitchwort honesty Field Bindweed Lavateria Fresh grasses opuntia cactus All above are fed as and when they are available, when the natural diet possibilities are in short supply I often feed what I can get cheapily at the supermarket and may include the following Mixed bags of lettuce cucumber carrot spinach cabbage Plus to bulk up the food and to keep up the fibre content during the winter months in particular I use Timmothy hay (rarely eaten by choice) Graze on I am sure there is much more I could add to this list, but cant think of any at the moment I have many lists for leos but the above is what I feed, as most feed lists is only really suitable in much warmer climates than mine

Ajay
Redfoot diet in a captive environment 70% mixed greens preferably weedy greens that are found in med tortoise diets, added to this is about 30% mixed fruits and veg again I like natural foods like berries so blackberries, raspberries, gooseberries these are lower in sugar than most commercial fruits and do have a naturally high fibre . Veg in the form of courgette and sweet potato is relished as is pumpkin, butter squash and crated carrot every week or so a small amount of animal protein can be added cooked chicken breast, meal worms, and wax moths, reds adore also baby frozen defrost day old mice Always use a vit/min supplement and have a calcium source available at all times. A large water source is vital reds love to soak daily and take in large amounts of water D
