Well all I can say is the Midland SW meet up was about meeting each other, talking about our tortoises the forum and socialising with each other, and we had a great time getting to know each other having a great laugh whilst doing so, and of course sharing our great nite out with everyone else.

We too on tortoisefriends have had regular meet ups, as there are quite a few tortoise keepers
in Kent. I have five others within 30 mins of each other. Seeing others set ups, you can always pinch ideas and adpt to suit you and your set up. Its just great to talk tort too<g> amoungst other things.

Sounds like there may be a few interested in meeting up. How shall we progress this? Does this forum have some kind of notice board so that people can find out about events? Perhaps we can post a note in spring again and actually organise a get together.
Alternatively perhaps people who are interestedr can let me have their e-mail addresses and I will contact them directly. I look forward to meeting you. Julia |

We did have a meet earlier in the year. Not many people turned up, but I'm sure it numbers will increase as time goes on. I'm sure there will be another meet next year so keep an eye out.
