ok, for now this is the setting, once I'm sure the tortoisetable has a good gradient for a kleinmanni I'll put her there

Danny, the temperature in the viv seems stable at around 36 degrees under the hotspot and 27 degrees on the cool side.
Still testing the temperatures on the cage.

she's very shy. always half buried in the substract for the time being.
On the other hand the little hermanni's are very active, they eat a lot and are eating away a cuttlefish bone like crazy also.
Not even my other tortoises go for the cuttlefish bone like these little guys.

Danny I think I'll remove the glass windows of the vivarium and place some metalic mesh leftovers replacing the glass, that I had from building the outside enclosures, I think it will allow better air circulation.

That will work

Egyptians seem to be a bit more sensative to change than other Testudo species.

update:
only now 1 week later I can say I saw the little klein eating and basking properly, but on the other hand during weekdays I work, so I only am able to see her early morning and late afternoon and have no idea if she's doing it during the day. lol
still very shy tortoise
