thanks for putting so much thought into your reply paul

ideally i would have only fed them the lists of weeds and plants i have found, using salad, fruit or veg to give them the nutrobal - but as i have been advised that they are underweight, i feel i need to try to remedy this, and then perhaps wean them back onto weeds etc and monitor their weight

i will follow your info and weigh at regular intervals, and chart their weight and size - and feed back and see if anythingneeds tweaking
