Wow yes. Power tool with cutting disc attachment to remove that square of shell. Amazing.

One of my Horsfields had this operation several years ago and has been fine ever since. It means we don't have to worry about any egg problems in the future.

Yes a friend of mine had a hysterectomy done to one of hers, it was interesting the way they cut the section out and if I remember correctly the section was just used to cover the wound until the new bone formed underneath, amazing really!

Yes it was very clever and mine was held together with the same substance as is used to repair horses hooves.
