I broke an egg
I am so annoyed with what I have done, I was candling my eggs and somehow managed to partially drop the torch but it went down far enough to break an egg it is more than just a crack it now has a hole and smashed bit around it.
I have put a bit of cling film around it loosely as liquid plaster wont work for this, any other ideas? |

Did it break the white membrane Alley? and how far along is the egg?
A picture would help Danny

I dont think it has broken the membrane, it is broken at one end of the top, so kind of hit the air space. |

If it's close to hatching it shouldn't be a problem Instead of the cling film, make a tent of damp kitchen roll and place that over the egg. This will keep the egg from dehydrating before it hatches.
