Default Psycho tortoise!

I know female torts can bash and bite as well as males, but wondered about "circling" behaviour? Lying in bed at 4.00 this morning thinking about my psycho rehome Bonnie, who looks completely female. She does it to every tortoise I put her with including my mature Iberia male Tonka, who is nearly twice her size. Bit like a shelled mosquito, she runs in, circles, bites and bites some more - no one has stayed near her long enough to see if she follows that up Slightly disturbing to see the victim making off with her clamped on a leg She's not gravid as previous (and only) keeper bought her with a smaller female. May well have to see if I can put a video up - talk about lethal weapon

Hi Lynne, exactly the same thing happens with my last horsfield rescue (Hope), she seems to be acting like a male, she circles the males, bites a bit on the legs and keeps nodding with her head. lol

When I first saw their plastron photos, I wasn't sure about her, but posted and had a female result
