Maybe. I completely agree with a ban-or significant limit- of sales of some of those species, but people in the thread, inc. Mr Newman, seem to think that it will affect existing collections.

We will see a ban in WC quite soon I am sure of it. There may also be movement restrictions of certain species. I.e if they stop the movement of king snakes then you may not be able to sell offspring.
It is a risk, in theory any species that can breed wild in a member state could be affected over the whole continent. That is what the trade is seeking to get the states to understand. Just because a common species can breed in Spain does not mean it will here. Having said that and as sated some species of turtle are doing quite well as wild here, as such there should I feel be restrictions and registrations of CERTAIN species as we have with red ears, although I believe that they are entering the trade once again as E.U bred!
