Thank's all, this guy with previous owner's had the run of the garden and house, sat on a sofa watched tv, i chuck him outside in a shed and garden . It took him about 6 months to come round to feeding properly and being active again, he comes to the back door and sit's and watches for a while then makes off. I would build him a ramp for the back step, but thinking this could lead to trouble, like when he is fully grown, kicking me out in the shed.

The plan is, my grandaughter who is 10 months, when she is talking and think's of a name, that will be the tort's name. Which could be funny.
