Hello I was looking in H/B the other day, They had small ones perfect to place inside Teddys enclosure, some were prickly so didnt buy. I wasnt too sure which to buy either..

Was you looking at the ones in the small pots? I do know Crassula is fine, thats the one with no prickles, soft leaves. They are also called Money plant.

I got several in the house, If you want a pic let me know I will post up Crassula for you

Opuntia cacti the ones with the pads, like micky mouse ears, prickly and smooth, Subulata is another, thick stem with little branches coming of everywhere, most crassula's

I've tried prickly pear and I even bought my naughty torty a nice Pachyphytum bracteosum for his enclosure which I found him perched on top off next to the the prickly pear pot he tipped over. The aloe vera which he didn't want to eat also squished in it's pot lol... In the end I've given up on cacti and nice plants and put in some carex grass he had in his outdoor enclosure he loves climbing on that stuff and it seems very hardy.
