Paul, that maybe so but who wants to buy them at the moment? I dont. I dont want to pay over my cash to Westron, Reptile UV - to who ever for one of these bulbs. Look at all the hassle with them thats been going on. You want something reliable and even if that bulb isnt a MR, you want your moneys worth.
Trouble is - we all dont know what we are gonna get with any of these now. You could look the other way and say oh thats just bad luck when it happens to one but when you got people on their 3rd replacement, who wants to be bothered with that - and its your tort that doesnt get what he needs. They may be the best one. But they are not at the moment. I am looking at right now, something I can spend money on that ok, may not be ranked number 1 bulb but that perhaps people can say - yeah i had that one and it lasted me well for over 1 year. Many on here say that, my old bulb lasted blah blah months. Thats what I want and am looking for. I wont risk buying a MR at the moment, and I want to get a back up in case my fails. Al, when have you been into English footie?? Whats wrong with the Gers or the Celts (or is it Buoys?)?? I thought every scot supported one or the other...Bit like being a Man U fan in Malaysia!! |

I know what you mean Rach, i have said before some UV is better than none there are other alternatives in lighting/heat, and hopefully some summer sun and the tort's will be OK. Some of the peeps who have rehomed 20 and 30+ year olds, very nice tort's, What UV supply did they have in there past.

I just tried to find and see if Komodo had their own website. All I found after entering it in google was Komodo Womenswear....
LOL - guess they wont have info about their bulbs on there then. I wanted to see for myself that it is westron that make them too.... Its all a crock... Guys - what about the other lights - the best of the rest (non westron made ones) ??? Wheres Kirkie - didnt he test some of these other ones?? |
