Yes you can see veins and I'm pretty sure the dark blob at the top is the tortoise

Looking fertile to me too Also that's an excellent picture showing the yolk sunk to the bottom of the egg. Thats the first thing a fertile egg does (even before chalking).

Hi Ross the light i used is a little clip on book light that came frome waitrose
