Berkshire Tortoise Club Open Day 2015
Hello all,
I am the co-founder of the Berkshire Tortoise Club. The Berkshire Tortoise Club is a new friendly club for Tortoise Owners and enthusiasts in the Berkshire area. We hope to follow in the footsteps of the incredibly popular Norfolk Tortoise Club, and have an Open Day coming up on Saturday 11th April 2015. At the Open Day, we'll have guest speakers, displays, tortoises on show, children's activities, a bouncy castle, a raffle, tortoise items for sale (slate, plants, chalk) and more! We hope to have monthly meetings which will follow the Open Day... If you live in Berkshire, or are in surrounding counties, we'd love it if you could come along. It will be a fantastic event. Hi I help with the Wiltshire Tortoise Group and would like to wish you good luck with your new venture. I can't make the 11th April, as have another tortoise event to go to but maybe might be able to make one of your future meetings.

It went really really well, we had a fantastic turn out and some brilliant guest speakers as well as recruiting new members! I don't know if you have facebook but we now have a group called Berkshire Tortoise Club and there's photos on it from the Open Day. Norfolk tortoise club's input was fantastic and Eleanor (club chair) did a brilliant talk. Thanks for asking |

Glad to hear that it went so well and maybe I might make one of your meetings. Can't do the 5th unfortunately as I'm in the WI skittles final but maybe in the future.

Hello Berkshire Tortoise people, delighted to have found you- but a little too late & have obviously missed the meeting! Can you tell me when the next meeting is & do you have any members in the Maidenhead/Cookham areas? I will try and find you on Facebook,Regards
