Hi Sue! I have a Horsfield myself and am now unsure of the subspecies! Anyways, to answer your point - as I see it, if your two were different subspecies this itself wouldn't create a problem because they are all Horsfields at the end of the day.

My horsfieldii has farmed in Uzbekistan. Does someone know, which subspecies live in there? So which sub my tortoise propably is?
