Default I have rehoused a tortoise ... but what is he?

Can anyone help me identifying my new family member. I have rehomed him from a very elderly couple who had him for over 40 years. Would like to know more on what breed he is. This is my first post and unsure on how to attach a photo. Would be very grateful if someone could help Jaws

She looks to be a Algerian spur-thigh, Testudo graeca graeca She also shouldn't be hibernated.

Thank you. I will read more and find out as much as I can. If I don't hibernate him ... what do I do? Keep him indoors. He is big? Would I need a big set up?
