Get ready
Well folks, a good day today.
I turned over the soil in the torts enclosure a few weeks ago and left it rough. That frost we have been getting will have helped to kill off anything in the soil. Today I turned it again and raked it over so it's all nice and free draining. I scattered some of my seeds from my SW pack (What a good selection) and raked them in just before we had a scattering of rain. Hopefully there will be some nice weeds for the 'Pies' to eat when its warm enough for them to go out. Next job, re-treat the timber on the enclosure before re-erecting it for the spring. I wonder if they realise that life goes on while they kip through the winter???

Sounds like you've been busy! I don't think they realise life goes on beyond them sometimes
