Anything else needed
Hey
i know tortoises are ment to have cuttle fish bone and Nutrobal But i was wondering if they needed anything else like that... just so i know and can prepare :P

Limestone flour. You can buy it in most farm/horse supply shops. Make sure its food grade.

helen remember im supplying you with various things i.e - UVB starter, portion of limestone flour (i have alot - and can supply you with a small bag). also cuttle bone, and a first set of hemp. (enough to cover the bedding of your tortoise).
Ill still have stacks of hemp and limestone left for myself. And other stuff...i can give as you know. |

yes you need limestone flour as cpx stated sprinkled few times week

Personally I use Cuttle Fish and Nutrobal but no limestone flour/powder.
I think it is personal choice and have read a variety of answers some do use both Cuttle Fish and Limestone Powder and some don't. If mine are still not interested in the Cuttle Fish in another month I might try Limestone powder then.
