Red face Help I don't know what to buy?

Hi

I'm going to pick up my new tortoise next week, I don't know what I need or what to buy?

I've been reading your post and see vegetable patch posts from Argos are good for the outdoor habitat, but where should I get the indoor habitat from? And what do I need to put inside it? Does he sleep on top soil or hay?

I really need to learn all about his needs before I pick him up, I don't want to mess up and hurt him accidentally

Thanks

Julia

Ok first we need to know what species you are going to get. There are some which will differ in their indoor conditions.
Once we know this, and the age (if you know this) then we can start planning the indoor set up, diet and care.
Outdoor set ups I cannot really help on but advise to look at the thread which is "Add your pictures - outdoor enclosures" for ideas. Will await your response. xx

Hi Rocco is a hemes? Is that right?

At the moment he's in a plastic box at night and in the day he is happy to wonder around the garden in the sun.

He's eating really well and is very active, but I don't have a heat lamp yet and I really need a better home for him indoors. He's 7 years old.

I seriously need a shopping list
