Default shop bought flowers&plants advice please :-)

Hi all,

If I buy flowers or plants at the shops is it OK to replant them in top soil and put them in Harry's home? Would this be safe? Also what's the difference between sterilized top soil and top soil? Are they the same thing? And does b&q sell it many thanks

you could re-pot them and put them in the enclosure after about 3 weeks, they need to drain any nasties the shop may have used.

most garden centres sell both soils, not 100% sure of the difference but i know sterilised will have less inpureities, I would recommend this to be safe.

You can sterilise your own soil by putting some in the microwave for a couple of minutes at a time.
