How deep is your substrate? It needs to be about 8 inches deep, so she can dig a proper nest. It does sound like she is gravid. Your best bet would be to set up a laying box that is deep enough to get that depth of soil. Make sure the soil is damp and packed down. Your going to need a surface temperature, under the lamp on the box, of, about 36 to 38C.

Default Herman behaviour

Since 5th november my herman has climbed and paced her indoor enclosure, only eats if i offer by hand . Last night when i turned my room light on about 10.45pm she was still awake and walked around. Any more ideas much appreciated.

A trip to the vets maybe? You could have an x-ray to see if she's holding onto eggs? Does she seem to be digging at all or sniffing the ground?

I spoke to vet on thursday and she said to leave her, but i would rather get her xrayed to she if she has eggs , the continuous pacing and climbing is driving me mad if shes not gravid she must be going nutty just like me She does not seem to be digging or sniffing.

I agree, an x-ray is in order. I've found that mine usually just pace when inside and gravid. They don't dig till I put them in the laying box.
Did you add to the depth of the soil everywhere or just in a certain spot? The soil should also be slightly damp and fully packed down. A bit of a slope up to the basking light seems to help also.
