komodo
I have tried a few varieties of pellet food to suppliment weeds earlier on in the year as the only thing i could find was dandilions. Now i have grown some tortoise mix weeds from SW shop, i hardly ever use them now. When i was using them, Fred's shell was really shiney and he was very bright eyed. I try to use them sparingly and use weeds pretty much all of the time. I did notice a massive weight gain with them on my horsefield, about 50-60g's, gaining aprox 10-20g per week. This isn't a particularly good thing tho but maybe good for sick/underweight torts. Since feeding fred weeds 90% of the time, his weight gain is now very gradual only gaining about 10g per month which i think is a bit more natural!
Hope this helps James & Fred

I use the komodo pellets for my 1 year old spur, she's been struggling to put on weight and ive found these are one of the few things she will get excited about eating, she only has them about once a week and probably about 5-6 pellets soaked in water, seems to be doing the trick for her!! My leo wont touch them!!
