to me and u its sick but to them its a job u have to think in theses countries u cant find jobs easy and can u all honesty say u would not do it if u had a family to support and that was the only job BTW im not saying this is right and i think its inhumane but u have to think about the guy cutting it up to him is a way to keep his family alive

The original photo is sick... but you really don't know the circumsance under which the photo was taken.
The animals would have survived in a normal shipment. Those animals were held in transit. Quote:

I understand that this is traditional in China but they don't have to be so cruel. Yes, we eat animals etc but we have laws in place so the animal is kept and killed humanely. There is no need for the torture these turtles go through.
I was in makros the other day and they were selling live lobsters, with their pinchers tied together and all thrown on top of each other. Thats cruel too in my opinion and thats happening in London.
