How to open tortoise's mouth?

I am wondering, is there any advice on how to open tortoise's mouth? My tortoise won't eat and I may have to start force feeding her through syringe. But she won't open her mouth either... Where exactly should I push her jaw? I am worried that I will injure her. But it must be possible to do it somehow because the vet did it quite easily...

I would ask the vet to show you

Yes, get a vet to show you, it can be very difficult, especially if your tort is still quite small.
