Thanks Alan. Great price especially having a 2 year guarantee aswell. Think I would be a bit embarrassed going and asking to claim under the guarantee if it broke though, as it is only £3.99 lol

they are meant for a car with the wire going to the outside and the readings part in the car. handy for torts though, I have one and you can take the temp in two different spots at the same time. don't leave it outdoors overnight though, I did by mistake and damp got in and it was knackered, they were only £2.99 then, I got another the following year and have had it since

I got mine today, can I just ask a daft question?? The probe is for one temp is the actual unit used to record the second temp. Do I just put the unit under the light, for example, to record that temp?? Sorry but I'm a bit daft when it comes to equipment, no matter how simple!!!
