If he is shipping from western cameroon, who sorts out all the paper work?
Import/ export licences etc, personally it looks like an interent scam to me. I'm not sure if any of those species are CITES 1 listed, if they are he can't be legally selling them across international borders anyway. |

I agree looks very dodgy. Breeders of this nature generally sell to someone else who then does the retail part of the trade in the UK. I know of a German breeder that moved to Turkey where their costs are lower, they ship their tortoises into Europe and the animals are sold through a large pet supplier. And who offers to ship a Galapagos tortoise from Western Africa to a buyer they know nothing about? Either a conman or someone who just doesnt care.

As Linda has said this is a SCAM, please ignore it, there are so many scams coming from this region. Please do not give this person any of your personal details.

recently there was a post on another forum in the snake section. same type of advert but for royal pythons. some poor sucker paid a £150 deposit and then got an email saying the snake would be shipped the following day. then he got an email from a french airport saying that they needed a payment for taxes and shipping. so he sent another £50. it cost himover £200 just to figure out he was being robbed blind. the advert he resonded to was from cameroon. i would stay away from it. FAR away!
you CAN get cheaper rare torts and reptiles from europe easy enough though, but i know most tortoise people dont like the idea of that. |

This is possibley the site where you send the money and dont get a tortoise.
It screams scam to me too. Why would you want to anyway, when you can get CB from a UK breeder.
