tesco and morrisions are selling little pumpkins for a £1

good worming properties. don't know if £1 is cheap but you don't get anything below a pound these days in supermarkets

Remember that its the seeds that have the worming properties, chop them up finely and feed them to the torts (advised by the famous Kirkie)

the flesh close to the seeds too

Edit> the outer part of the seeds I think contains the worming properties IIRC

how do you manage to chop the seeds, when i tried they slid everywhere, i tried then to use a blender but still they would not chop up

It isn't a substitute wormer, it's like all the other stuff..chicory, nasturtium etc.. some now and again helps keep worms in check. I've never fed the actual seeds
