Sounds like a bargain.

My dad thinks I've entered my second childhood having torts at my age ..... but then he popped around at the week clutching a coldframe he'd bought them from Aldi. lol lol lol

I can't wait for the weather to get warmer so I can get them out there to try it out.

I bought two of these last year, to be honest I thought they were rubbish, they are flimsy and break easily. Mine are now in bits, I am going to use some these to build good coldframes this year.

Just to clarify, am I right in thinking you guys use coldframes as sleeping quarters for torts when they are in outdoor enclosures? So if I build mine an outdoor run then a coldframe would serve as a hide for them?

Was thinking more of somewhere to warm up or get out of the wind on bad summer days. If you add a paving slab they warm up & TT reckon are about 10 degrees warmer than outside.

I was thinking of adding them to outdoor enclosure but also having a shed.

In previous years when mine have been tiny (some still are! lol) I have used a hutch with attatched covered run & plant propegators with a "door" cut in as a cold frame.

They also have material greenhouses which I think I may use instead.
